Featuring a modern player’s cavity back design, The new Wilson Staff Model CB Irons deliver blade-like control, precision, and workability with added forgiveness. The irons are forged from 8620 carbon steel, one of the softest materials on the market, to provide the feel and feedback skilled players demand. There’s nothing tour professionals dread more than the low, left shot. To combat this, Wilson utilizes an adaptation of their classic Dyna Powered iron Fluid Feel Hosel, which removes weight from the base of the hosel. The weight savings are precisely redistributed in the toe, preventing the face from closing until impact and, thus, virtually eliminating any possibility of a left miss. The extra mass in the toe pays additional dividends in the form of increased stability. The stock shaft offing is True Temper’s Dynamic Gold Mid 115, which uses a unique shaft geometry to create a stiffer mid-section with an active tip to promote an elevated launch and spin compared to the standard Dynamic Gold.
