The limited Xperimental Putters showcase prototype-inspired setups with modern technology and a clean, tour-proven look. Both compact mallet-style models feature Scotty’s Steel Gray finish, a custom black, nickel-plated SCS face insert with chain-link milling, which delivers exceptional feel, roll performance, and feedback, and a tour-validated sight line configuration. For this limited release, Scotty and his team also focused on optimizing the putters’ balance, developing custom-made graphite shafts. Stiffer and slightly counterbalanced with optimal flex, these advanced carbon fiber shafts enhance stability throughout the stroke while providing precise feel and improved distance control.
The Studio Xperimental Fastback 2 marks the debut of Scotty’s I-beam plumbing neck in the popular ring-weighted, rounded mallet Fastback. The putter features a multi-material construction that significantly boosts stability, forgiveness, and MOI, including a 303 stainless steel body with a custom-engraved, integrated 6061 aluminum sole plate and stainless steel sole weights. A contrasting black anodized aluminum inlay creates a two-tone perpendicular alignment to ensure a perfectly square setup at the address position.
