Because Dyaco Medical appreciate that the 8.5UE is going to be used by patients with various ranges of motion, capabilities and physical therapy requirements, it offers a very low starting resistance. This guarantees a gentle and low impact movement for the upper limbs, arms and shoulders. In addition the 8.5UE has an Adjustable Crank Length that can be tailored to meet each patients specific range of motion requirements. Further adjustments to meet patients needs include Arm Height Adjustment that the therapist can facilitate with the foot pedals located either side of the machine and the hand grips rotate to swivel naturally in accordance with the patients wrist movement. The Multi Function Handle also features an arm height adjustment lever for added convenience, streamlining the adjustment process for optimal convenience. It also has remote shortcut keys for console operation. The 8.5UE  Bi-Directional Resistance is a unique feature of Dyaco Medical equipment. This function allows for arm rotation in both forward and reverse directions, under a smooth magnetic resistance, for greater muscle and joint involvement.
