Its carbon frame keeps weight down while maintaining stiffness where it matters, helping deliver precise handling when trails get rough or steep.With 170mm of travel up front from the RockShox ZEB fork and 160mm at the rear from the Super Deluxe shock, it’s set up to deal with bigger hits, rock gardens and challenging descents. The mullet wheel setup – 29” front and 27.5” rear – balances rollover capability with agility, giving a confident feel on fast or technical trails.Bosch’s Performance Line CX motor provides strong, consistent assistance for climbing, while the 800Wh battery offers the range for longer rides or multiple laps. The Kiox 400C display and Mini Remote make it easy to keep track of ride data and adjust support modes on the move.The SRAM Eagle AXS T-Type wireless drivetrain keeps shifting clean and precise under load, while powerful Maven Bronze brakes give controlled stopping on steep terrain. Add in a long-travel dropper post and grippy Continental tyres, and you’ve got a bike that’s ready for demanding trail riding, whether you’re exploring new routes or pushing your limits on familiar ones.Bosch Performance Update 2.0Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals. Bosch are also adding more features and connectivity options, including Garmin integration and new power supply options.One thing worth keeping in mind — more power means more stress on drivetrain components, so increased wear is expected over time.
