The Golfsmith Straight Fluted Hand Reamer is excellent for finishing and re-conditioning hosel bores for re-shafting purposes, providing a high degree of accuracy and surface finish. It is made to exacting specifications, to offer a good allowance between the shaft and hosel for the perfect epoxy bond. This reamer removes as much as 0.003" (0.1mm) of material per side from standard-sized hosel bores and is further distinguished by the slightly longer leads to guide and centralize the reamer in the hole. While specifically designed for hand reaming operations, this reamer can also be used on a drill press at 150 RPM's or below.
