The Aluminium Superlite frame uses Gravity Casting Technology to add strength where it’s needed while keeping weight sensible. Efficient Comfort Geometry puts you in a relaxed, upright position that stays stable even when the bike is fully loaded.Bosch’s Performance Line CX motor delivers strong, controlled assistance with up to 120Nm of torque, making light work of steep climbs and headwinds. The large 800Wh PowerTube battery is neatly integrated into the frame, offering plenty of capacity for longer rides and multi-day trips without constant recharging.Up front, the SR Suntour air suspension fork provides 100mm of travel to smooth out rough roads, tracks and potholes. Comfort is further improved by the suspension seatpost and adjustable stem, letting you fine-tune your position for long days in the saddle.Shimano CUES 1×10 gearing keeps shifting simple and reliable, with a wide-range cassette that suits both climbing and steady cruising. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent stopping power in all weather, giving confidence when riding with luggage or in traffic.Practical details really set this bike apart. The Integrated Carrier 3.0 works seamlessly with the frame and comes fitted with mudguards and lights, so it’s ready for commuting or touring straight away. Wide Schwalbe Big Apple tyres add comfort and grip on mixed surfaces, rounding out an e-bike built for dependable, go-anywhere riding.Bosch Performance Update 2.0Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals.
