Built around an Aluminium Superlite frame with Agile Comfort Geometry, it combines clean lines with practical features like fully integrated battery housing, internal cable routing, and SIC 2.0 mounting points for easy accessory fitting. The 800Wh PowerTube battery is neatly concealed in the downtube, offering huge range for long rides, while the Bosch Performance Line CX motor supplies up to 100Nm of torque to make steep climbs feel easier and technical trails more accessible.Suspension duties are handled by a SR Suntour XCR36 2CR Air fork and EdgeX R rear shock, delivering 140mm of travel front and rear. Together, they smooth out rough trails and help keep your tyres planted for better control. Rolling grip comes from Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.6in tyres mounted on ACID SLX 30 tubeless ready wheels, giving dependable traction across loose, muddy, and rocky ground.The Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain ensures precise, reliable gear changes with a wide range of ratios for climbing and descending, while powerful Shimano MT420 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with oversized 203mm rotors deliver confidence-inspiring stopping power in all conditions. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals.
