Based on feedback and input from tour staff professionals, Mizuno fashions the Pro S-1 with a more squared-off shape and toe. The irons feature an innovative Channel Back Design, which allows mass to be subtly yet strategically repositioned behind the face. The result is greater vertical MOI and stability, as well as exceptionally consistent launch conditions. Additionally, the channel creates a tour-preferred, firmer, and more responsive impact sensation without sacrificing Mizuno’s iconic feel.

Mizuno’s tour staff also played a pivotal role in developing the Pro S-1’s sole. Showcasing a flatter camber profile, a sharpened leading edge, and an increased bounce angle, this new design ensures smoother turf interaction, especially for those with shallower swing paths, while minimizing digging for players who maintain aggressive attack angles.
